Nel Parco Naturale delle Foreste Casentinesi si trova, a pochi km dall’Eremo di Camaldoli, il piccolo borgo rurale di Valagnesi. Il colle, alto circa 800 mt., domina la vallata del Casentino ed offre al visitatore una bella vista sui dintorni: le Torri di Romena ed il Castello medievale dei Conti Guidi a Poppi.Le case tutte in pietra e la piccola chiesa sono rimaste quelle di una volta. Nel cuore della Toscana, la valle del Casentino si trova a metà strada fra grandi città d’arte: Firenze, Arezzo e poco più lontano Siena. Il borgo di Valagnesi, pur nella tranquillità che lo circonda dista soli 8 km. dal paese di Pratovecchio. La “casa Primetta”, su due livelli è composta da: soggiorno/pranzo con angolo cottura e ampio camino, tre camere da letto, di cui due matrimoniali (6+2 posti letto), salotto con divano letto matrimoniale, bagno con doccia. Dal piano inferiore si accede ad un’ampia terrazza, attrezzata per mangiare all’aperto. La casa è equipaggiata di lavatrice. Su richiesta è possibile usufruire, a prezzi vantaggiosi, dell’eccellente cucina del ristorante “Gliaccaniti” gestito dai proprietari della casa.

In the Natural Park of the Casentinese Forests you can find, few km far from the Camaldoli hermitage, the rural village of Valagnesi. The hill, 800 mt. high, dominates the Casentino valley offering the visitor a wonderful view on the surroundings: the Romena towers and the miedieval castle run by the Guidi earls in Poppi. The houses, stone-made all of them, and the small church are still as they were in the past.In the heart of Tuscany, the Casentino valley stands amidst famous ‘città d’arte’: Firenze, Arezzo and, a little farther, Siena. Valagnesi village, although a quite place, is only 8 km far from the town Pratovecchio. The “Primetta house”, built on two levels, consists of: living room/dining room with a cooking place and a large chimney, three bedrooms, two of them with double bed for a total of 6+2 sleeping places, living room with a double place-sofa bed, toilet with shower. At the lower floor, a terrace gives opportunity for lunch, dinner or sunbath outdoor. A washing machine is available. On demand, the excellent dishes of the restaurant “Gliaccaniti”, managed by the house’s owners, are available at favourable conditions.

Mitten im Naturpark der Casentinischen Wälder, wenige Kilometer von der Einsiedlung Camaldoli entfernt, befindet sich der kleine Bauernhof Valagnesi. Der ca. 800 m hohe Hügel dominiert das casentinische Tal und bietet dem Besucher einen schönen Blick: die Türme von Romena und das mittelalterliche Schloß der Fürsten Guidi a Poppi.Die Steinhäuser und die kleine Kirche sind noch Originale aus dieser Zeit. Das casentinische Tal befindet sich im Herzen der Toskana auf halber Strecke zwischen den Künstlerstaedten Florenz, Arezzo – und unweit entfernter Siena. Das Bauerngut Valagnesi, mit aller seiner Ruhe und Natürlichkeit, liegt aber doch nur 8 km vom Dörfchen Pratovecchio entfernt. Das zweistöckige Haus “Primetta” besteht aus: Wohn/Eßzimmer mit Kochnische und großem Kamin, drei Schlafzimmern, davon zwei Doppelzimmer mit Ehebetten (6 + 2 Schlafplaetze), Wohnzimmer mit Schlafcouch für zwei Personen, Bad mit Dusche. Vom Erdgeschoß kommt man auf eine grosse Terasse mit Eßtisch. Komfort: Waschmaschine. Auf Anfrage steht das vom Hausherren geführte Restaurant “Gliaccaniti” mit seiner hervorragenden Küche zu vorteilhaften Preisen zur Verfügung.
